I LOVE THIS HORSE!!!!!!!!

Hey everyone!

Sorry its been a while. I have been EXTREMELY busy. I have been trying to get caught up in school for a few weeks now, and just today I finally did. Since the end of January I have been getting ready for my last IEA show this season. From last Friday through yesterday morning we had a family from NY visiting us, which means that I was kicked out of my room. (I had to sleep on the couch in my dad’s office!!). They have two kids, a 15-year-old boy and a 7-year-old girl. Their mother is a very loud Italian, so their father tries to talk over her, and then the kids follow suit and try to talk over that. That Saturday I had work, so I came back around 2:00 in the afternoon, tired, hungry, and covered in sawdust (Saturday is when we put new bedding in the stalls. This is a very long process were the tractor comes in and goes out repeatedly with loads of sawdust, then with a HUGE white cloud of dust, dumps it into a wheelbarrow that is waiting in the isle. Once that is done, you must take the wheelbarrows and hand-dump them into the stalls.). But instead of being able to just come home, eat some lunch, then relax and take a shower/nap, I had to watch all the kids while my parents were at a meeting. We stayed up late Sunday night watching 21 (a movie about a guy who counts cards). Monday we went to the Great Lakes Science Center. It was fun, but we had bad seats at the Imax movie, and I left with a headache. (Of course, it didn’t help that Zack, their son, likes rock/heavy metal. I had to ride next to him in the car, and he kept making me listen to it.) That night, we all watched 24 (you know, “Save me Jack Bauer!”) until fairly late that night. I woke up absolutely EXHAUSTED the next morning. They left at 10:00 am, then somehow I was able to get all of my school done in two ours before going to work at 3:00. When I woke up that morning, I asked to God please help me with my school and at work that day, and He did much, much more than that! I not only got all of my school done, but I had the BEST RIDE EVER!!!!!! Do you remember a few weeks ago, when I talked about riding a big white horse? Well, I had such a good ride on him that my instructor has been letting me ride him. The past few weeks, him and I have formed a bond, and it seems to get stronger every time I see him. I now ride him every time I go in, and it is AWSOME!!!! I have soooo much fun on him. Until now, I had only ever cantered once without stirrups, and that, lets just say it didn’t end so well.(my horse took off and I hit the fence.) Now, I do it almost every time I ride him, and it is the best feeling ever!

I’ll talk more later, but I have to go. My parents just got home from caregroup, and I have to help get the boys in bed.

Oh, by the way, I won’t be able to blog much for the rest of this month. I still have a TON of “busyness” this month. This Saturday is my show, then next week is the Horse Expo (an event that OK and I always go to.), not to mention my Aunt decided to make a last minute trip up here, so she will be here from tomorrow night on as well.
