Poetry Challenge Day 1

So, for day 1 our challenge was to write a poem where each line starts with a letter from our first name (an acrostic). It could be about anything, but it should not be about you or your name. I have never been good at acrostic poems, but I gave it a go.

He loved me to the end
Abandoned his own life
Not for his debt but mine
Now risen, filled law’s demands
Adopted me, the fallen one
Heaven opened by his blood.

As always, criticism is not only welcome, but encouraged!
