Poetry Challenge Day 5

On day five, this challenge really became interesting, and somewhat difficult. Our goal? Write a three line poem about lemons without using the following words: lemon, yellow, round, fruit, citrus, tart, juicy, peel, and sour. Difficult? heck to the yes. Impossible? I think not! Was it pretty? … I’ll let you decide.

I take a sip of this summer treat,
Think of memories bittersweet,
Dilution makes them good to eat.

I must admit… if this takes very much longer… I may have to start singing. *gulp*
